From Ventspils to senior-level ownership in product engineering.
Born and raised in Ventspils, on Latvia's Baltic coast. Curiosity came first: how things work, why systems fail, how software changes what people can do. HTML became JavaScript, then everything behind it. This is where the instinct to build began.
Moved to Germany at nineteen to study engineering and build a future with more range, structure and challenge. A new country meant more than relocation: it widened the way I think, work and take responsibility.
Communication & Information Engineering shaped the technical foundation: distributed systems, software engineering, higher mathematics, graph theory, OOP, data management, data analysis, Java and mobile development. Outside lectures, the work became practical — a plant-care app, an Android audio project, drone-field detection, and a VR sustainability concept that drew attention beyond the classroom.
Diana Candles, Securitas and Ballsportdirekt showed the transition from code that merely works to software that improves real operations. Website maintenance, reporting, process visibility and logistics control made one thing clear: useful software must survive real constraints.
Built a mobile ad-tech product from scratch with Ionic, Laravel and MySQL. Tracking, analytics, push notifications, deep links, partner management, payout verification and an admin panel turned it into more than a side project — it became real product ownership with commercial thinking behind the code.
Designed and built an automated content generation platform end to end: an LLM drafting pipeline, a human approval gate before anything ships, a headless renderer that turns approved drafts into finished branded assets, and scheduled orchestration that runs the whole cycle unattended. Nine workflows behind a Laravel control plane, with its own admin layer for logs, assets and run history — a system that produces real output on its own and stays debuggable while doing it.
At Mystery Minds, the work matured into senior-level responsibility: designing features from scratch, shaping reusable frontend systems, building reporting and admin tools, working across support, cron jobs, SSO-related flows and production delivery, and becoming a trusted technical reference before major code moves forward.
